According to a post on the Luke Air Force Base Facebook page, several F-35 jets are expected to conduct a flyover on Thursday. The jets are set to fly over several cities in the Valley and northern Arizona.

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – After hitting 111 degrees, making it Tucson’s hottest day of the year thus far, we should expect more of the same through the middle of next week. That’s why we have issued First Alert Action Days through Monday with an Excessive Heat Warning in effect for much of the region. We’ll also see less monsoon storm activity through that time. However, the storms that do form will have the potential to create microbursts, as it’ll be very hot & dry at the surface. Monsoon storm activity looks to ramp up more by late next week.
