DAVIS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – As summer winds down, the Tucker County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is inviting residents and visitors to explore the county’s scenic beauty through the annual “Get Tuckered” Scavenger Hunt.

With a deadline of October 31, 2024, participants have ample time to enjoy the adventure and the fall foliage.

This year’s scavenger hunt offers a grand prize of a $500 gift card, double the amount from previous years.

Adventurers can pick up passports at various locations including the Tucker County Visitor Center, Vacation Rental offices, Canaan Valley Resort State Park, Blackwater Falls State Park, and Parsons City Hall.

To enter the prize drawing, participants must visit five designated locations and collect stickers for their passports.

Jessica Waldo, Executive Director of the Tucker County CVB, highlighted the appeal of the hunt.

“The final stretch of summer and the upcoming fall foliage offer spectacular backdrops for exploring Tucker County,” she said. “The scavenger hunt allows participants to discover the unique charm of our region while offering the chance to win a $500 prize.”

Participants are encouraged to share photos of their favorite stops on social media using the hashtag #GetTuckered.
