Alaska Airlines just announced a new seasonal route between Arizona and California.
Tucson International Airport will get a flight to Sacramento, a new destination for the southern Arizona airport.
The new seasonal route was one of 18, and the only one out of an Arizona airport, that Alaska Airlines is introducing in December 2024 and January 2025 to expand service to warm weather refuges and ski destinations nationwide. These include Alaska's first route to Vail, Colorado, where it will fly to from Seattle and San Diego.

How much will it cost to fly from Tucson to Sacramento?
Round-trip fares for the new flights start at $198 when booking Alaska's Saver fare, which comes with restrictions that include no seat selection, being the last to board the plane and limited ability to make changes to the itinerary.
