    UPDATE 10:50 a.m., July 16

About 500 customers remain without power Tuesday morning after Sunday's massive storm blew through the Tucson area, Tucson Electric Power spokesman Joseph Barrios.

He says crews are working to bring service back to remaining customers by Tuesday night. TEP reports 67 power poles were damaged in Sunday's storm.

The ice station at the Tucson Mall, on the southeast corner of the property by Macy's, is still in operation today. The cooling center at the Donna Liggins Community Center, 2160 N. 6th Ave., is closed due to the outages.

    Update: 10:00 a.m., July 15

TEP has set up ice stations to provide ice to those still without power.

If needed, the ice is available at Safeway, 2140 W. Grant Road, at Silverbell, and the Tucson Mall, 4500 N. Oracle Road, on the southeast corner by Macy's.

    Update: 8:48 a.m., July 15

About 5,000 customers were still without power across the area Monday morning following a massive storm that clobbered much of the city Sunday night, according to Tucson Electric Power.

"Our crews worked overnight and we’ll continue to work throughout the day on repairs," TEP spokesman Joseph Barrios said in an email.

    Update 11:15 p.m.
At least 27,000 customers are without power because of Sunday evening's monsoon storms.

According to a TEP spokesperson, they are still receiving and evaluating outage reports. They say it's difficult to predict when the power will be back on.

"We’ll work to restore service as quickly and as safely as possible to each location," the TEP spokesperson said in a statement.

TEP warns if you see a downed power line, don't go near it and call 911.
