Meet (and adopt) RASKC’s Pet of the Week Nora:

Nora is a two-year-old female Tabby looking for her forever home. She was abandoned at RASKC on August 25 and, as you can imagine, was terrified and wary of people after that. Nora may be a bit hissy at first, but is slowly letting her guard down. Once she warms up to you, she will happily accept chin scratches. They are her favorite!

Due to her shy nature, Nora would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children, as fast movements and loud noises may startle her. When she goes to her new home, it will be important to be patient and allow time for Nora to acclimate to her new environment at her own pace as she is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow.

She is looking for a family who understands that she might need some time to warm up. Once she gets to know you, she will be a very devoted friend!

Nora is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Her adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the companionship she will provide, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion.

As Pet of the Week, Nora’s adoption fee has been reduced!
