Washington State Patrol seeking information on drive-by shooting on SR 599 in Tukwila

The Washington State Patrol is investigating a shooting incident reported on Monday, July 8, 2024, near the exit to International Boulevard on southbound SR 599 in Tukwila (map below).

Troopers said that at around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, a witness called 9-1-1 after seeing a driver in a white Mini Cooper fire a silver pistol.

The witness reported that a Chevy Tahoe had pulled over, possibly struck by the gunfire. Troopers arrived at the scene and found the Tahoe with a flat tire.

The driver, unaware of the shooting, reported no injuries.

Detectives believe the flat tire was caused by the gunfire.
