Driver in critical after late-night shooting in Tulare

TULARE, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A man is in critical condition after a shooting in Tulare that occurred late Saturday night, according to the Tulare Police Department.

Police say on Saturday at 10:45 p.m. they responded to the 200 block of South H Street after receiving multiple calls regarding gunshots and a possible collision in the area.

Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle in the yard of a residence and the driver with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

Investigators report medical treatment was started and the man was eventually transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives are actively working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
