Tulare County Sheriff Detectives Investigate In-Custody Death of Suspect Arrested in Strathmore Home Invasion
July 22, 2024 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, TCSO Deputies were called to a home invasion in Strathmore. When Deputies arrived, they learned the people inside the home were able to restrain the suspect until Deputies arrived and arrested the suspect. During the pre-booking process, it was determined the suspect needed a medical clearance due to erratic behavior and he was taken to Sierra View Hospital. While at the hospital the suspect suffered a medical emergency and passed away. The cause of death is pending an autopsy.
