TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa man was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography.

Zachary Michael Johnson was booked into Tulsa County Jail Wednesday morning for two counts of possession of child pornography.

According to an affidavit, in February 2023 the file hosting service DropBox was made aware of child pornography uploaded to its servers. DropBox reported this to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

A search warrant served for the DropBox account revealed 944 files identified as child pornography. Further search warrants of emails and an IP address showed the account belonged to Zachary Johnson.

In October, Tulsa Police pulled Johnson over near 41st and 129th and interviewed him. Johnson admitted to seeking out and receiving child pornography through platforms like DropBox and Kik.

Police found 16 files of child pornography on another DropBox account associated with Johnson. The affidavit says Johnson admitted to using multiple emails and accounts.

An arrest warrant was issued Monday. Johnson is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. His bonds total $50,000.
