A Trump supporter from Tulsa has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for illegally going inside the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot.
Tricia Monique LaCount , 54, acknowledged in writing that she was in the Capitol for an hour and 14 minutes. She also acknowledged she later described then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office on social media as "so gaudy."
She pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court in Washington, D.C., to entering and remaining in a restricted building. Sentencing was set for Oct. 18.
U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton will decide her punishment. She faces up to a year imprisonment and a $100,000 fine. She has agreed to pay $500 in restitution.

LaCount appeared Wednesday by video. Her attorney told the judge Tuesday that she suffers from health problems that make travel more difficult.
LaCount was charged last year with four misdemeanor counts. She will be sentenced on only one count under a plea deal with prosecutors.

Rioters overwhelmed Capitol police to breach the building, delaying the formal counting of the Electoral College votes that had Joe Biden winning the presidential election.
In a statement of offense, LaCount admitted she went through the Senate Wing Door about three minutes after the initial breach of that entrance as a loud alarm blared. She admitted she shared videos and messages on social media from inside the Capitol.
In one Facebook conversation, she was asked, "You got in the Capitol?!" She responded, "Absolutely!" according to the statement of offense.
In the same conversation thread, LaCount stated, “Pelosi’s office is so gaudy ... massive chandelier, beautiful fireplace ... MSNBC live was on every laptop.”
A Facebook friend tipped the FBI off on Jan. 8, 2021, about LaCount, according to a court affidavit. The evidence against her included a video of her inside the House speaker's office.
More than 1,450 individuals have been charged in nearly all 50 states "for crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol," the Justice Department reported in a news release Monday. Eleven were from Oklahoma at the time of the breach.
The investigation remains ongoing, the Justice Department said.
