Tulsa Police investigate body found at business near 6th and Peoria, no foul play suspected

UPDATE (7/29/24) — Tulsa Police confirmed a body was found at a business near 6th and Peoria and said no foul play is suspected.

Tulsa Police told FOX23 the body was found on the roof of the business.

Construction workers on a neighboring building thought they saw a body and could smell it, police said.

Tulsa Police said it's unusual to find a body in the roof like that, but they do not suspect foul play.

They're treating it as a John Doe.

Officers also found belongings on the roof.

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police are investigating a possible body found at a business near 6th and Peoria.

Tulsa Police said employees working on the building discovered what appears to be a body.

Officers are on the roof of the "Anchor and Rose Tattoo" building.

Earlier, officers flew a drone over the building.

They have not confirmed that a person was found dead, but we do know the medical examiner arrived at the scene within the last 20 minutes.

FOX23 has crews at the scene and will update with more information as it becomes available.
