Tacoma Police Search for Suspect in Attempted Murder of School Patrol Officer
The Tacoma Police Department is currently on the hunt for an individual involved in a shooting that targeted a school patrol officer. According to a report from KOMO News, the incident took place on the afternoon of July 18, in the parking lot of the Tacoma Public Schools office on South 8th St. Security cameras captured footage of a silver SUV slowly approaching an occupied, marked Tacoma School Patrol vehicle, before a shooter disembarked and fired a single shot narrowly missing the officer.
Mercantile to open second Wenatchee Avenue location in August
