    Plenty of chances to see fireworks through Saturday

    TUPELO – Whether it’s food, fireworks, fun or politicking, the Fourth of July in Northeast Mississippi has a variety of ways to celebrate the nation’s independence.

    Most of the celebrations follow tried-and-true formulas at the same locations. Thursday will be the 45th Fourth of July event at the historic Jacinto Courthouse, but since it is not an election year, fewer political leaders will speak.
