Tupelo depot construction is 'full steam ahead'

TUPELO — Those traveling along North Front Street will be greeted by contractors toiling on the groundwork for the All-America City’s newest feature and new home of the Tupelo’s farmers’ market.

Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association Executive Lucia Randle said the depot project will be moving forward with substantial construction soon. The target for completion is in spring of next year depending on weather, Randle said, adding that recent rain slowed down the needed dirt work on the lot but the project is still on schedule.
