TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WHNT) — The Alabama Crimson Tide will welcome four-time defending national champion Oklahoma Sooners to Rhoads Stadium this year.

Alabama Head Coach Patrick Murphy confirmed on X, formerly Twitter, that the new conference foe would come to Tuscaloosa for the first time in a regular season series April 11-13.

The Sooners last visited the Crimson Tide in the 2015 postseason, and Alabama won that series 2-1.

The Crimson Tide and Sooners have played 18 times, with Alabama holding the all-time lead, 10-8.

Oklahoma and Texas joined the Southeastern Conference on July 1.
