"Anything Goes": Classic Cole Porter musical, performed by Theatre Tuscaloosa, 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, 2 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Bama Theatre, 600 Greensboro Ave. On board an ocean liner steaming from New York to London, Billy Crocker stows away, in love with Hope Harcourt, an heiress engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and "Moonface" Martin — public enemy no. 13 — help Billy try to win Hope. Original book by P.G. Wodehouse and Guy Bolton, with revisions by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, Timothy Crouse and John Weidman. Debuting on Broadway in 1934, its score included tunes that became standards, including the title song, "You're The Top," "All Through the Night," and "I Get a Kick Out of You." Directed by Ray Taylor, with musical direction by Leslie Poss; starring Lisa Waldrop Shattuck, Gary Wise, Sarah Kathryn Bonds Ethridge, Benjamin Cornelius, Ally Skelton, John Walker, Kathy Wilson, and an ensemble of dozens.

The company will continue to perform in the Bama Theatre for the time being, until extensive repairs and refurbishments to its home Bean-Brown Theatre, at Shelton State Community College, can be completed. Exhibits include "We Be: Stories of Mamboland" by Della Wells in the Museum Gallery; selections from the Aspiring Artists Summer Camp in the Teer Gallery; and selections from clients of Turning Point in the SoNo Gallery. Kathy Oths will give a talk at 5:45 p.m., "Women in Anthropology and the World." Megan Austin will have a dsiplay of her jewelry in the Gallery Shop.
