4-star Alabama RB commit still considering Georgia
Four-star running back recruit Anthony Rogers is planning to visit the Georgia Bulldogs again. Rogers, who has been committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide since June 2023, visited Georgia this spring. “I am still committed to Alabama,” said Rogers in a recent interview with Rivals. “I am just looking at other schools to make sure I am the right fit for my future.” Rogers plays high school football for Carver High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He has previously played for IMG Academy and Pike Road High School (Alabama). Rogers is the fourth-best running back in the class of 2025, per 247Sports. The 5-foot-8, 190-pound running back is the No. 118 recruit in the country and the No. 11 player in Alabama. Rogers runs track and plays basketball. The Carver star running back has elite speed that should serve him well at the next level. Rogers is a shifty runner who is very elusive. Georgia football has 17 commitments in the class of 2025, including one from three-star Cedar Grove running back Bo Walker. Georgia typically signs two running backs per cycle, so the Bulldogs are likely looking to add another one to their haul in the 2025 cycle.

The Alabama Crimson Tide coaching staff has already begun to recruit for the 2026 recruiting class. One prospect that the Crimson Tide are an early finalist for is interior offensive lineman Brandon Anderson. On Friday, Anderson listed Alabama in his top seven. The other six finalists were Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech, LSU Tigers, North Carolina State, Tennessee Volunteers, and UCF. Anderson landed an offer from Alabama on May 6. The product of North Cobb High School is listed at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds. Given his size, Anderson could play both offensive guard or offensive tackle at the collegiate level. Thus far, Alabama has two commits in the 2026 recruiting class. Four-star cornerback Dorian Barney and four-star safety Jamarriom Gordon are the lone commits in the class. Could Anderson be the next prospect to join the class?
