(Kutztown, PA) -- A professor at Kutztown University died last weekend while on a mountain climbing trip in Turkey. Doctor Muhammad Dalgin and another climber were killed when their group was hit by a sudden storm while coming down from Mount Ararat. Montoursville School District to offer free school meals for all students
Montoursville, Pa. — The Montoursville Area School District announced that it will be offering free school meals to all students for the upcoming school year. The meals will include one free breakfast and one free lunch each day school is in session, according to the district. The free meals will be offered throughout the entirety of the 2024-2025 school year. Balances on student cafeteria accounts will remain, according to the district, and students can still use their cafeteria account to purchase approved snacks, beverages and extra food items in the cafeteria. Students may also purchase "second" meals at breakfast and lunch. Prices of the second meals vary depending on the school and can be found on the district's website.
