We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about Evil , All American: Homecoming , Doctor Who , Criminal Minds: Evolution and more!

| Why would you cast Gugu-Mbatha Raw in a Doctor Who spinoff if, as showrunner Russell T Davies made clear, she is not playing Martha Jones’ sister again ?

| Does the amount of returning cast for Silo Season 2 make you wonder just how much it will deviate from the book’s largely Juliette/Solo-centric storyline?

| With news that the Max-turned-HBO original series The Penguin will air on Thursday nights , do we think that HBO will make Thursdays the night to launch IP-driven originals (see also: Dune: Prophecy, Harry Potter and IT prequel Welcome to Derry )?

| Snowpiercer fans, did it take you a moment to recognize Miles, who clearly had a growth spurt between seasons? ▼

| Were you stunned that House of the Dragon’ s Silverwing chose Ulf after he stomped on her eggs? Also, purposely brutal “Red Sowing” or not, couldn’t Rhaenyra have given those dozens of bastards a tiny heads-up of what may come? And did it rob some of the suspense from the “Red Sowing” that we only got to know two of the many contenders beforehand and (surprise!) those were the two who ended up with dragons?

| How is this Netflix series — which aims to feature the final interviews with cultural icons to be aired after their deaths — going to work, exactly? Do the icons all have to sign something promising not to give another interview for the rest of their natural lives?

| Why do these sadistic Bachelorette producers keep putting poor Jenn, who is deathly afraid of heights, in situations where she has to fall/jump from a great height? And did the producers also prod Sam N. to suddenly become a villain with his self-described “boss bitch energy”? Lastly, couldn’t they have let Jenn’s ex Matt at least put down his luggage before getting grilled by Jesse about his intentions?

| Was the most shocking part of The Golden Bachelorette’ s new promo finding out that senior leading lady Joan has a mother who is still alive and well, God bless her? ▼

| On All American: Homecoming , wouldn’t Keisha’s grad school rejection letters have come in small envelopes, and not the big ones typically reserved for acceptances? (Or, being the year 2024 and all, via email?)

| When Sunny Hostin revealed her new line of rosé on The View , claiming that the label was done in her own handwriting, was it really necessary for Whoopi Goldberg to correct her, saying, “This is not your handwriting — this is one of the ways you write”? If it was a legal matter, as we suspect, shouldn’t Goldberg have just said so, rather than making things awkward?

| Did The Young and the Restless really have Devon tell Nick how happy he was that his engagement to the latter’s sister meant that he finally had a brother… when he already has one in Moses?

| Is the unarguable highlight from Snoop Dogg’s first week of Paris Olympics “commentating” his play-by-play of for this men’s badminton rally ? Could NBC’s archery coverage have done a poorer job of letting you know/appreciate just how far away (3/4 a football field!) the target is? Did NBC seriously conclude their live coverage of the men’s all-around gymnastics final without showing the list of final rankings? Does TV need to find an innovative way to make trap shooting easier to follow for viewers, with its tiny fast-flying targets that get shot before we even see them? Finally, while we love Kelly Clarkson, did she contribute anything as an Olympic Opening Ceremony commentator?

| Listen, Doug Bailey was a nice guy and all, but did the Criminal Minds: Evolution finale overestimate how much we, Prentiss et al were vested in the few Season 1 scenes we spent with him? Also, did we know that Emily has a sister…? Who would be your dreamcasting for that role?

| Wouldn’t Evil ‘s Kristen, who has laid witness to all manner of human (and family member) manipulation, have taken at least a moment to wonder aloud if all was not as it seemed with cheating Andy? The instant that Ellie alluded to events that would happen “six months from now,” did you predict what she was about to claim? Speaking of Ellie, admit it: Given how insane this show is on the regular, you kinda believed that she was, indeed, Laura from the future, right?

| When you first cued up Lady in the Lake , the Apple TV+ mystery series starring Natalie Portman, did you ever think you’d be watching nuclear testing scenes by Episode 4?

| $42.99 a month ?!
