TVLine Items: GH Exit Confirmed, Neighborhood Promotion and More

Apple TV+ has picked up Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman’s Long Way… motorcycle docuseries for another 10-episode season, TVLine has learned. The renewal comes nearly four years after the Long Way Up season, which was released in September 2020.

“On a rather tricky, sandy bit of Long Way Up , Charley and I started to daydream about another trip to keep our minds off the scary road at hand! This is that trip,” McGregor, who also exec-produces with Boorman, said in a statement. “Rusty old bikes and 10,000 miles of Scandinavia, and Eastern and Central Europe. A big loop from my house in Scotland to Charley’s house in England. Long way home… magic.”

* AMC+ and Sundance Now have renewed Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale , a drama adapted from the V.V. James novel, for a second season to begin filming this month in Ireland and debut in 2025.

The Gentlemen Renewed for Season 2 at Netflix

* PBS has renewed The Great American Recipe for Season 4, with new episodes expected in Summer 2025. Host Alejandra Ramos, and judges Tiffany Derry, Tim Hollingsworth and Francis Lam, are all set to return.

* Alex Garland’s Civil War will stream exclusively on Max starting Friday, Sept. 13 (and air on HBO the following night), and I Saw the TV Glow will land on Max Friday, Sept. 20/air on HBO Saturday, Sept. 21.

* Squid Game: The Experience — in which fans can step into the world of the Netflix hit and try their hand at (presumably non-lethal versions of) some of its popular challenges — will open Friday, Oct. 11 at the Manhattan Mall. Visit SquidGameExperience.com/new-york for tickets.
