Paramount+ has revealed a new trailer for Season 2 of the revival (which you can watch above), including a glimpse of Frasier back in his familiar booth at KACL and uttering his trademark phrase, “I’m listening,” with Roz at her usual producer’s post. Frasier’s old pals Dan “Bulldog” Briscoe and Gil Chesterton are there, too, with Bulldog marveling that Frasier’s son Freddy is a sports fan: “So, not your son.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, Frasier proudly announces that he’s purchased a very rare and very expensive jamón ibérico — that ham is doomed, isn’t it? — and he’s caught red-handed trying to swap three bottles of wine in place of Eve’s baby John. (But not White Zinfandel, of course.) And we have to say Olivia really has Frasier and Alan’s number when she refers to them as “those two grumpy Muppets over there.” They do have kind of a Statler and Waldorf vibe.

Season 2 of Frasier — premiering Thursday, Sept. 19 on Paramount+ with the first two episodes — will also feature the return of Harriet Sansom Harris as Frasier’s deranged agent Bebe Glazer, with Peri Gilpin recurring as Roz after guest-starring in the season finale. Plus, Emmy winner Patricia Heaton ( Everybody Loves Raymond ) will join the cast as Boston bartender Holly, a potential new love interest for Frasier.
