The Dead Boy Detectives have crossed over to the TV afterlife.

Based on DC Comics characters created by Neil Gaiman, Matt Wagner and Malcolm Jones III, Dead Boy Detectives respectively starred George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri as Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland, teenagers born decades apart who found each other in death and solved mysteries in the afterlife. As the brains and brawn behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency, Edwin and Charles would “do anything to stick together — including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself,” per the official synopsis. “With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal (Kassius Nelson) and her friend Niko (Yuyu Kitamura), they are able to crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.”

Dead Boy Detectives was an extension of Netflix’s Sandman universe (based on another DC comic book from Gaiman), but fear not: The Sandman is coming back for Season 2, with new cast additions including Jack Gleeson (aka Game of Thrones ‘ King Joffrey), Indya Moore ( Pose ) and Barry Sloane ( Revenge ).
