VMAs Live Stream: Watch MTV’s Official 2024 Red Carpet Pre-Show

One of the year’s biggest nights in music has arrived once again: the 2024 Video Music Awards .

But first, we’ve got ourselves a red carpet to enjoy. MTV is kicking things off early at 6/5c with an official pre-show, featuring interviews with this year’s nominees, performers and presenters, as well as performances by K-pop girl group Le Sserafim. The two-hour live event will be hosted by Dometi Pongo, Kevan Kenney and Nessa.

Ahead of tonight’s big show, Taylor Swift leads the pack with a total of 12 nominations, followed by Post Malone with 11. Eminem comes next with eight, while Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion and Sabrina Carpenter each have seven.

Most of this year’s winners will be announced during MTV’s live broadcast of the Megan Thee Stallion-hosted event (8/7c), which is being held at Long Island’s UBS Arena. As always, MTV has assembled a robust team of presenters to reveal those winners, including Addison Rae, Alessandra Ambrosio, Big Sean, Busta Rhymes, Carson Daly, Cyndi Lauper, Damiano David of Måneskin, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, Flavor Flav, French Montana, Halle Bailey, Lil Nas X, Miranda Lambert, Naomi Scott, Paris Hilton, Sasha Colby and Tinashe

In addition to hosting, Megan Thee Stallion is also a performer this year, taking the stage along with Anitta, Benson Boone, Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, Eminem, GloRilla, Halsey, Karol G, Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz, Lisa, LL Cool J, Rauw Alejandro, Carpenter and Shawn Mendes.
