William Fichtner is boarding AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe.

The Mom and Prison Break vet has joined The Talamasca (working title), the third series in the network’s expanding franchise.

The drama focuses on the secret organization “responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, werewolves and other creatures scattered around the globe.” Ordered for a six-episode first season, the series, which also stars Nicholas Denton ( Dangerous Liaisions ), is expected to premiere on AMC and AMC+ sometime in 2025.

Fichtner — who most recently co-starred on ABC’s The Company You Keep — will play the series-regular role of Jasper, “a mysterious American who has quietly assumed control and influence over the Talamasca’s London Motherhouse,” reads the official description. “Though his motives and methods are cloaked in shadow, his charm and righteous sense of purpose are as dangerous as the power he’s pursuing.”
