RHONY’s Rebecca Minkoff Teases Season 15 Drama With Brynn Whitfield: ‘There Is Nothing Wrong With Nordstrom Rack’ — Watch

Last season, New York restaurant Catch was memorably deemed uncool by The Real Housewives of New York City . In Season 15, the women have their sights set on new institutions to tarnish: Nordstrom Rack and… birds?
In a previously released trailer for the upcoming season, which debuts on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 9/8c on Bravo, Ubah Hassan is seen calling her fellow cast members “pigeons.” But what does that mean, exactly?
“A carrier pigeon usually takes a message directly from the pigeon to the source,” RHONY newcomer Rebecca Minkoff tells TVLine. “In this case, we are not carrier pigeons. We are spreading — well, I’m not spreading — other people are spreading wrong information, misinformation. So she downgraded everyone to just a ‘pigeon.'”
One major lie spreading among the RHONY cast: Nordstrom Rack is apparently bad? In the trailer, we see Brynn Whitfield subtly bashing the retailer in an effort to throw shade at Rebecca for selling her designs there.
“The irony is, there’s nothing wrong with Nordstrom Rack,” Rebecca says in our video above. “I mean, who doesn’t love Nordstrom Rack?” (And just to prove there’s nothing wrong with the beloved department store of discounted designer goods, we’ve included some Rebecca Minkoff products to shop below.)
“As a business person — if you understand business — you understand that it starts at Nordstrom, and then if there’s leftovers it goes to Nordstrom Rack,” Rebecca adds. “It’s also part of building a big, sustainable business.”
Rebecca is the latest fresh, but familiar, face entering the RHONY franchise this season as an official “Friend of,” along with new Housewife Racquel Chevremont. In addition to Brynn and Ubah, the pair joins cast members Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank and Sai De Silva, all of whom are returning for their sophomore seasons.
