Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 Casts Survivor’s Parvati Shallow and Big Brother’s Dr. Will Kirby

NBC Thursday released the names of the 14 lucky new players who will be battling the banker (and each other) in Season 2 of Deal or No Deal Island . Included in the bunch is Survivor winner Parvati Shallow, and this time around, she’ll be facing off against a Big Brother legend: Dr. Will Kirby. Let the island games begin!

Shallow is no stranger to competition reality series. She first debuted in Survivor: Cook Islands , and later played on the Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites season (which she won), in addition to Heroes vs. Villains and Winners at War . She was most recently seen in Season 2 of Peacock’s smash-hit The Traitors , where she donned one of the show’s now-iconic black robes.

As for Kirby — known to fans as Dr. Will — he famously won Season 2 of Big Brother back in 2001. While he’s returned to the series to host jury roundtables, he hasn’t competed on any reality series since 2006’s Big Brother: All-Stars , where he placed fourth.

One other famous face will be greeting returning host/executive producer Joe Manganiello: Australian Survivor winner David Genat. The former supermodel competed in 2019’s Champions v Contenders , and later went on to win the Aussie series’ All Stars run in 2020.

In addition to Manganiello, models Ben Crofchick and Kamari Love will return as the Banker’s Assistants. Whether original Deal or No Deal host and Island EP Howie Mandel will appear again remains a mystery.

In Deal or No Deal Island , briefcases are hidden around an island with more than $200 million in prize money split between them. In each episode, players compete in daring challenges to secure the briefcases that will be used in that night’s game of Deal or No Deal. The player who snags the highest-value case gains immunity and gets to choose a fellow player to enter the Temple. The chosen competitor must then play a classic game of Deal or No Deal. If the player makes a bad deal, they are immediately eliminated. If the player makes a good deal, they get to select who to eliminate.

The winnings from each game of Deal or No Deal are added to a group pot that will grow throughout the season. The last player standing will face the Banker to potentially win the biggest prize in Deal or No Deal history.
