This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman’s upcoming series sounds like a touchdown.

Hulu has ordered a family drama series from Fogelman that will be set inside the NFL, TVLine has confirmed. Exact plot details for the as-yet-untitled series are being kept under wraps, but it is said to have a generational family component, per a source with knowledge on the project.

Fogelman will serve as writer and executive producer on the series. Jess Rosenthal ( This Is Us ) will also executive-produce.

This will be Fogelman’s second series that has landed at Hulu. He is also the creator of the upcoming drama series Paradise , which will reunite him with This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown. James Marsden is on board to co-star. A premiere date has yet to be announced. Fogelman also serves as an EP on the streamer’s Only Murders in the Building , which is currently in its fourth season.

The producer’s new series won’t be his first venture into the world of sports. He previously co-created the Fox series Pitch , which aired in 2016 before it was cancelled after just one season. That series told the story of the first woman to play Major League Baseball. Fogelman’s other TV credits include Galavant, The Neighbors, Like Family and Grandfathered .
