    Ratings: Opposite MNF, NCIS Returns Steady, Origins Falls Shy of Hawai’i Numbers

    In the latest TV show ratings: Among non-football fare, CBS’ returning NCIS led in viewers and tied NBC’s The Voice for the nightly demo win.

    Opposite Monday Night Football on ABC, which averaged 8.4 million viewers and a 1.5 demo rating….

    CBS | NCIS opened Season 22 with 6.4 million viewers and a 0.4 rating, on par with its previous averages; TVLine readers gave the premiere an average grade of “A-“; watch Katrina Law post mortem video . NCIS: Origins ‘ double-episode series debut averaged 5 mil and a 0.3, shy of time slot predecessor NCIS: Hawaii ‘s Live+Same Day Season 3 averages (5.2 mil/0.35, not up against MNF ). Readers gave the prequel spinoff a grade of “B+,” with 87% planning to stay tuned; read post mortem about “her.”

    NBC | The Voice (5.4 mil/0.4) was up in viewers, down in the demo week-to-week; now facing stifffer competition, the freshman drama Brilliant Minds (3.1 mil/0.2) dipped in both measures.

    FOX | 9-1-1: Lone Sta r (2.4 mil/0.3) and Rescue HI-Surf (1.6 mil/0.2) both dropped some eyeballs.

    THE CW | Superman & Lois (428K/0.1) dipped just a bit in audience; The Wranglers debuted to… 167K and a 0.0.
