Saturday, the 27th, is the day for the 2nd Annual Kids Fishing Derby, in Augusta. The kids fishing FUN will run from 9, to 2, at Willow Creek Reservoir. Don't worry about a thing, it's for kids 12, & under, &.sign up will be at the boat launch. Please keep in mind, this is shore fishing ONLY, NO unsupervised children. Bozeman Gallatin's Josh Woodberry named to National Football Foundation's 2024 Team of Distinction
BOZEMAN — Josh Woodberry was grateful, even if he didn’t quite know what award he just won. The email came from the National Football Foundation, informing Woodberry that he was one of 84 high school football players to be named to the 2024 NFF Team of Distinction as a scholar-athlete. NFF chapters from 40 states picked a winner out of a pool of 3,500 applicants, with Woodberry becoming the first winner from Montana.
10U All-Stars open state tourney with two wins
The Glendive 10U All-Stars defeated Glasgow in their opening game of the Montana 10U Cal Ripken State Tournament in Bozeman Thursday. The local team took down Glasgow 16-0 to advance to face the Gallatin Valley All-Stars Friday morning. Glendive defeated Gallatin 3-2 and will take on the Bozeman Bucs at 10 a.m. Saturday.
