Yesterday I wrote about possible measles cases spreading in Michigan. And it seems as if this disease stuff won't let up because here comes another warning!. Yikes! Now we are getting another disease warning from the CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And this warning is about the world's deadliest creature spreading a potentially deadly disease.
Wildfire smoke could throw a small wrench in our weekend forecast
A large plume of wildfire smoke is going to cover our Michigan sky at times over the next week. This smoke does have an impact on our weather here at the ground. Yesterday I wrote how a large blanket of wildfire smoke is now moving over Michigan’s sky. The smoke will make our high sky look hazy and even cloudy. This won’t be a continuous covering of smoke. Much like clouds and rain showers there will be periods when the smoke clears and the sun is strong.
