Vesta, MN – The 61st V-esta Day, presented by the Vesta Lions Club, kicks off today with an array of activities for the community. Known for its famous chicken barbecue grilled over the pit, the barbecue will be served at the Vesta Community Center, the former school building, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. For $15, attendees can enjoy a meal that includes half a chicken, potato salad, baked beans, a bun, a pickle, and a beverage.
