CASA for Kids of East Texas to host fundraiser to further mission

TYLER, Texas ( KETK ) – CASA for Kids of East Texas, a nonprofit that works to benefit and advocate for children, is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday and will be promoting small businesses.

Their third annual Passport to Fun event will feature food, on-site shopping and a chance to win a grand prize, a release said.

According to the organization, tickets are $15 and the event will begin at 9 a.m. at 3616 West Way St. in Tyler, CASA’s new address.

Attendees can expect vendors at the event including, Scentsy, Sweet Gourmet, The Potpourri House, Jersey Mike’s, Rose City Modern Vintage, Gaudy Me, and The Master’s Hand Creation.

CASA for Kids of East Texas serves Smith, Van Zandt, and Wood counties and they want to spread the word about child abuse and how people can help their organization continue their mission.

“Funds will make a difference for CASA, ensuring we are able to support the high number of abused and neglected children in our community,” a release said.
