TYLER, Texas ( KETK ) – Multiple East Texas law enforcement offices have reported on Tuesday morning they are experiencing issues with their phone lines due to carrier outages.

The following communities have reported to have issues:

    Tyler

Officials with the Tyler Police Departments said their 911 phone lines are down due to a carrier based issue.

Verizon has reportedly advised they have experienced outages due to the storms, and Smith County dispatch is currently answering 911 calls from within city limits.

Anyone that has trouble reaching Tyler police dispatch is asked to use alternative numbers to reach them by 903-939-6001 or 903-566-6600.

    Longview

In Longview, police said they are experiencing issues with their non-emergency lines for Verizon and T-Mobile customers only. Those who attempt to call will hear a busy signal.

Officials said those affected should consider “delaying your call if possible,” but if it is an emergency, to dial 911.

The system is reportedly working properly for all other providers and landline users.

    Gladewater

Gladewater PD said that due to Verizon and T-Mobile issues, area 911 problems have been reported.

“If calling 911, please be prepared to give your location and call back number,” officials said. “If you do have any issues reaching our 911, please call our non-emergency number at 903-845-2166.”

    Henderson

The Henderson Police Department said their non-emergency lines are not accepting calls from AT&T carriers for an unknown reason.

Those with AT&T in the area are asked to call 911 if they need to reach law enforcement.

    Camp County

The Camp County Sheriff’s Office reported that their phone lines and 911 lines are all down on Tuesday and said that in case of an emergency only, to call 903-855-1161.
