    Dairy Queen ‘Miracle Treat Day’ to raise money for CHRISTUS

    TYLER, Texas ( KETK ) – Dairy Queen locations across East Texas will be participating in the Miracle Treat Day event, donating money for each Blizzard sold toward the CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System.

    According to a release from CHRISTUS, the fundraising event by Dairy Queen is meant to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by donating money for every Blizzard sold at participating locations all day on Thursday.

    CHRISTUS said that as part of the event, Miracle Families that were cared for at a CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System hospital will hold a celebration to raise awareness for the importance of children’s hospitals.

    According to CHRISTUS this will mark the 40th year Dairy Queen has sponsored the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raising more than $180 million in that time. CHRISTUS said that the goal for 2024 is to raise $40,000 on Miracle Treat Day.
