Suspected Thief Arrested in Boston with Over $3,400 in Stolen Merchandise
Yesterday afternoon, a pursuit led to the arrest of Jamonte Smith, a 24-year-old resident of Dorchester, for his involvement in a significant theft of merchandise. Boston Police from the District B-3 Anti-Crime Unit tracked down and recovered items valued at approximately $3,495. The Boch Center, one of the nation's leading nonprofit performing arts institutions, announced the launch of this summer's award-winning City Spotlights Teen Leadership Program. During the paid six-week youth employment program, Boston teens will develop leadership skills using the performing arts.
