I live near the complex of chemical plants and refineries, aka, Mordor, south of Houston. We’ve seen spills, leaks, and explosions, even recently, to the point that it’s almost routine. I have never seen anything like this, though.In TX, companies have to post event emissions reports, and I’ve read one of them, and then had a question. How can those amounts of toxic chemicals be released, but then the EPA still says it’s fine to breathe it? These events also release a lot particulants, which no one needs to breathe. We’re being poisoned every day.
