This Berkshire Hike In Massachusetts Leads To A Hidden Gem
I normally workout at the gym when I get off the air in the morning but since I had a little time to kill during my travels last Spring, I figured why not go for a walk on the newly paved bike path that runs from Crane Avenue all the way to the Berkshire House of Corrections entrance. Along the way, I spotted this interesting gem that I never thought I'd see on a bike path.
Lee celebrates new mural highlighting town features
Lee — The town is looking a bit more colorful these days after artist Cheyenne Renee added a mural to Main Street. The Covington, Va. native founded the 50in50 Project in the fall of 2021, with her goal being to paint one mural in a small town within each state by the end of 2025. Renee’s trek began in June of 2022, and Lee marked her 11th stop in the project, with Morristown, Vt. next.

LEE, Mass. — Out of the 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts, Lee was selected to participate in the "50 in 50" Project. Artist Cheyenne Renee is working to paint a mural in a small town in all 50 states. As part of the project, there will also be a documentary that will incorporate interviews and footage from each town.

Special needs performing arts camp seeks children to participate
People with disabilities are often excluded from the world of performing arts. Michael Pizzi, actor and occupational therapist, set out to change that. Since 2007, his nonprofit Touching Humanity has used the performing arts and education to promote disability awareness and social and occupational justice for people with disabilities. This August, Pizzi is partnering with Barrington Stage’s education department to run a special needs performing arts camp for children with disabilities, aged 12 to 18.
