Man Accused of Child Molestation Off County Services Parkway
William Stanley Ashworth, 32, of Hiram, is accused of molesting a girl under the age of 16 between March 4, 2012 and Aug. 31, 2015 at Trophy Hut, 2261 Austell Road in Marietta, a business near the intersection of Austell Road and County Services Parkway, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department. Ashworth is charged with two counts of sexual battery; and two counts of child molestation felony. He was arrested on June 26 at 3 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. Ashworth remains in custody without bond.
