MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A woman suffered serious injuries after a shooting early Monday morning at a South Memphis park, police said. According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), officers responded just after 2:20 a.m. to a shooting at Texas Courts Park near Texas Street and Ashby Avenue and found a woman had been shot.
