WASHINGTON (7News) — Much-needed wet weather will overspread parts of the DMV though Monday evening. While the severe weather risk remains low, First Alert Weather is on Storm Alert for isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds. The greatest risk is southern Maryland and the Northern Neck. On a scale of one through five, southern Maryland is under a one. A low end tornado is unlikely, but stands at a 2 percent chance according the the Storm Prediction Center.
