Power outage affecting Powers Blvd, use caution
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Utilities reported a power outage on the east side of town. Powers Boulevard between Platte and Palmer Park is affected. Traffic signals are affected as well, treat intersections with dark signals as four-way stops. The estimated restoration time is 4:16 p.m.

Colorado Springs City Council on Tuesday officially censured Councilman Dave Donelson for comments he made a week prior, saying he acted in a way that constituted a breach of decorum. Motorcycle rider injured in collision with SUV in downtown Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A woman was seriously injured after she crashed her motorcycle in downtown Colorado Springs Monday night. Police were called to the Old North End just after 8:30 on reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV. When 11 News got on scene, both vehicles were in the middle of the intersection; the bike lying in the road on its side, while the SUV had visible damage on the driver’s side.
