COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A Colorado Springs family is asking for help after their dog started a fire in their kitchen. The fire happened on June 26 along Rushmore Drive. The neighborhood is on the southeast side of the city east of S. Circle Drive south of Highway 24. The Colorado Springs Fire Department says they got the call at about 4:43 a.m. and arrived at the scene four minutes later.
