PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Parts of the Mid-Ohio Valley picked up a decent amount of rain on Monday. Spots around Parkersburg, Belpre, and Marietta were able to pick up more than half an inch of rain. A few isolated spots in central Washington county were able to get close to an inch in total. However, some areas did not pick up much rain. Southern Wood County is an example of only picking up around a tenth to two tenths of an inch of rain. More rain is still needed to help with the severe drought conditions across the Mid-Ohio Valley.
