New EV Charging Locations Open in Madison
MADISON, CT - A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, to mark the inauguration of four new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging locations in Madison. This initiative was spearheaded by the Economic Development Commission and was financed through a combination of town funds and Eversource grants facilitated by the State. As a result, the Town of Madison now boasts five EV charging locations, four of which are accessible to the general public. The public EV chargers are located in the public lot on Wall St which runs behind the movie theater, in the parking lot across from the Madison Senior Center on Bradley Rd, behind Memorial Town Hall on the Madison Green, and near the Scranton Pavilion on Samson Rock Road.
