The Polk County Sheriff's Office has arrested 42-year-old Timothy Hillis of Lake Wales once again, following a recent traffic stop. According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, Hillis had already been out on bond after a similar arrest in July of this year.

"He should be in jail for 100 years," Sheriff Judd remarked, noting that Hillis is a habitual offender.

Hillis, who has nine prior offenses for driving without a valid license, was spotted on a four-wheeler, drawing attention to himself with reckless driving.

During the stop, authorities discovered he was not only driving with a suspended license but also carrying meth, cannabis, and makeshift pipes in his pockets.

Hillis now faces multiple charges, including drug possession, driving without a valid license, and grand theft.

By the way Sheriff, you're doing a great job there in Polk County.

Incarceration alone will not help Mr. Timothy Hillis, he needs professional help to understanding the "Why" in his choices. If we continue to believe that "locking them up" will solve our societal issues we are greatly mistaken. Fund Preventative care and aftercare would help tremendously.
