The FDA has issued a health advisory urging consumers to avoid all flavors of Diamond Shruumz-brand products, including Chocolate Bars, Infused Cones, and Gummies, due to reports of serious illnesses. These microdosing products have been linked to a variety of symptoms, such as seizures, abnormal heart rates, nausea, and loss of consciousness.

As of September 27, 2024, a total of 175 illnesses have been reported from 33 states; 70 have been hospitalized, and there are three potentially associated deaths, according to information shared by the FDA in an email today.

The FDA’s investigation is ongoing, and consumers are advised to dispose of any Diamond Shruumz products or return them for a refund. The recalled items were sold online and in smoke/vape shops, and some may still be available for sale.

Retailers are being urged to cease selling these products immediately. If you or someone you know has consumed Diamond Shruumz products and experienced adverse effects, contact your healthcare provider or the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222.

For more information on the recall and ongoing investigation, including seeing more product photos and a list of retail locations known to have sold the product, visit the FDA's website page here.
