North Louisiana 2A and A High School Football Report - Week 3

The third week of the high school football season saw some big wins for North Caddo and Logansport who both got wins over District 1-4A.

Haynesville took the Claiborne Parish title this year as they beat Homer 27-12. The only possibility of a 2024 second chance for the Pels could be the playoffs as both compete in Division IV nonselect. Homer moved up to 2A this season.

BTW also took the Soul Bowl on Saturday afternoon over Green Oaks 26-14.

On the undefeated trek, Lakeside and Haynesville are the only ones remaining in our local coverage.

The Bienville Parish Superbowl will take place this coming weekend as Arcadia will travel to Ringgold. The Redskins have won their last two matchups. Some other key matchups will be the kickoff of district play in District 1-2A. Undefeated D’Arbonne Woods will travel to Shreveport to face Calvary. Union Parish will also take on Green Oaks in a key district game.
