Ballet School of Vermont Gets ‘En Pointe’ with Solar Energy
With financing assistance from VEDA and Vermont Federal Credit Union, the Ballet School of Vermont was able to purchase a new building in 2017 and install rooftop solar panels, which will generate enough electricity for the needs of the ballet school. Update 6:14pm: Governor Hochul says she has deployed the NYS Police and other agencies to help in Oneida County. As the heat index rose and the potential for storms grew, a tornado has been confirmed in Rome, NY - just north of Utica. Photos from the scene show a church with its roof and steeple torn off, numerous downed trees and power lines, overturned vehicles - even a B-52 bomber on display at the Air Force base was moved by the strong winds.

ESSEX JUNCTION — Two St. Albans residents passionate about recovery from substance use are bringing people together to discuss life-saving solutions. Beta completes Alia CTOL deployments with two U.S. DOD major commands
Over the past month, Beta Technologies (Burlington, Vt., U.S.) has executed evaluative deployments with two major commands of the U.S. Air Force — the Air Combat Command (ACC) and the Air Mobility Command (AMC).
