Embers in Umbra reunites Colchester alumni, brings pop-rock sound to Vermont
In 2023, three Colchester High School alumni came together with music as the common cause. In 2024, they added two new members to their group and dropped a debut album. The band’s album, “Phases,” released this past February, features powerful female vocals and an energetic pop-rock, sometimes hard-hitting sound. The band was nominated in May for three “Best of Vermont” Seven Daysies awards in the Best Rock Group, Best Pop Group and Best Vocalist categories, and in June, the group was a top finalist in a Battle of the Bands.
