Self-Taught Local Artist To Show Work At Fort
Emily Jensen is a self-taught artist. Well, unless you count Bob Ross videos as a teacher. A few years ago, after receiving a painting kit from a friend, she tried a Bob Ross painting tutorial and was pleasantly surprised by the results. An interest in art blossomed and then burned as Emily honed her talent. Now, she is excited to share that with the public in a fun way this weekend at the Northern Fort Playhouse.

Deadwood Days of ’76 Rodeo: Preview, Format & How to Watch
It is time for the Days of ’76 Rodeo from Deadwood, South Dakota! Athletes descend on The Mount Rushmore State to compete for their share of over $300,000. A year ago winners of the rodeo took home between $$4,500 and $10,000 to add to their season earnings. The highest marked ride across all events was in the Bull Riding where Grayson Cole was 92.5 points. This year is sure to be full of fireworks.
WCA volleyball finishes on top at SDSU team camp
With the fall sports season fast approaching, the West Central Area volleyball team had a chance to get together to play together at the South Dakota State University team volleyball camp in Brookings, SD July 14-16. The Knights picked up where they left off a season ago and earned first place at the team camp.
